One-2-call Query

Featured Replies

as a general rule how long do you get before they ditch a number , 1 month or 2 months ?

and when you fail to topup you cant send voice or text , but can you still receive voice or SMS ?

does sending or receiving become blocked until you topup ?

and is the mailbox still active and for how long does it keep voice or text messages ??

(when you fail to topup )

input *121# and then send, what will be returned will be your credit and how long the card is valid for.

also with your phone input *#06# and your phone will return your IMEI number. write this down , so if ever your phone is stolen you can report this number to the police. traders at MBK have to see an identity card before they buy a phone.

Useful tidbit of info. Been calling 900121 to check on my credit. I also used to have to ask the employees at the stores where I buy the top up cards to help me with using the card because I don't speak Thai. Until, that is. someone at one of the stores gave me number to call to get the recorded messages in English.

There seems to a set of useful * numbers like that. Is there a site on the net (in English) where I can find a list?

to top up your phone press *120*13digitnumber# then send

13digitnumber is the one on your topup card, it will return your balance and expiry date - and then you will get an sms giving you the same details.

This one is even better. Thanks for the info. Are there any others or are you making them up as you go along? :-)

not that flash mate...lol

the 120 one is written on the back of the topup card second line at the left top..

these *number# codes are used by many providers though the numbers vary.

Ok- I asked this question previously in regards to 1-2 talk...anyone know what the email address associated with the mobile # might be?

... in Thai, in case people think I'm a number short of the full ten digits :-)

If my memory is correct, calling the 900121 number presents you with a spoken menu of options. One of those options is to "top-up" the account. They explain what to do during the process.

I would enjoy reading the 1-2-Call website in English some day. Or I suppose I could enjoy reading it in Thai if my skills ever develop to that extent.

A word about Dprompt.

I have changed over to Happy xxxxxx as they will replace my sim card and number the same day if my phone is stolen or falls into "the big white telephone".

A must if you use yr mobile as a business number.

Does one-2-call provide this service now?

Is it possible to top up a one 2 call account from the UK?

If you have a bank account with Siam Commercial Bank (maybe other banks do it also), and applied for their internet banking, then u can topup 12Call, DTAC and TrueMove from SCB website.

Anybody knows how to set up Voicemail (English Menu) for One2Call?

i have set mine up at least 3 different times now and it always reverts back. my voicemail just won't work.

Slightly off topic but seeing as Ive just purchased my first one2call phone card could anyone please tell me the call rates per minute for mobile calls to the UK, USA and Australia from Bangkok. It would be much appreciated thank you.

I think the last time I called the states it worked out to about 8baht/min.

For the States dial 008-1-areacode-number , 5 THB per min. , same as from a landline. You can get cheaper using

http://www.deecall.com/ , but I just keep it simple with 008.

Don't forget if you use 12Call often check the promotions at *777 . The default is 3 THB first minute, 1 THB thereafter per call.

I use day call 199 THB per mo. , unlimited calling 5am to 5pm in AIS network (most of my calls) , then the default off hours and off network.
