Johnny Depp's bodyguard Malcolm Connolly claimed he lied about Johnny's severed finger to protect Amber Heard.

 

Depp has brought a libel case against News Group Newspapers for a 2018 article in The Sun which branded him a "wife beater" - a claim he vehemently denies.

 

The bodyguard took to the witness box to give evidence at court on Tuesday.

 

Connolly recalled going to the scene after Depp's finger was severed in a row with Amber in Australia in March 2015.

Miss Esparza, who owned the concierge company at the exclusive Eastern Columbia Building, said she saw Miss Heard almost every day throughout the week after the alleged phone-hurling assault and the actress bore 'a clear, and unmarked face'.

 

Then, on May 27 - six days after the alleged attack by Depp - she saw Miss Heard with 'a red mark underneath her right eye' and 'a sad look on her face'.

 

Miss Esparza alleges that a few weeks later - June or early July - she saw Elon Musk who came down to the reception around 9am 'and looked like he had just woken up with messy hair'. 

 

She says her concierge colleague told her Mr Musk had been visiting Miss Heard late at night for more than a year, when Depp was away filming.

Depp testified on that. He said that she "bombed" him with love, coming up to him saying how much she loved his movies and such.

One beautiful thing to come out of this trial, is that Heard has been outed, and the entire planet (except for some me too fanatics) now knows who and what she is. This whole divorce and her allegations smelled like bad fish from the beginning. Nice to see her credibility destroyed. 

 

Going to be a rather humiliating rest of her life!

The trial will be a humbling experience for both, but Depp's reputation will be restored.  Wasn't any secret that he dabbled in the odd non-mainstream substance, so the revelations from the trial most likely won't hurt too much.

 

hopefully The Sun gets taught an extremely hefty financial lesson so they think twice before making such accusations.

 

Heard will come out of this smelling like the marital bedroom, only much harder to eliminate the odour.

It will be very interesting to see. Whilst the evidence against Heard is shocking, unfortunately Heard secretly made many pictures, videos and such of Depp, also when he was on drugs, ranting and raving, so there is footage where he looks like a raving lunatic.

 

It will be very interesting to see how the courts find here. All the Sun has to establish is that he beat Heard, and he already admitted he headbutted her, allegedly accidentally during an altercation.

 

I would not be at all surprised the court finds for Heard. 

 

Like Mike says though, anyone who'd hire her would have to be mad. Having said that with 7 million from the divorce, Elon Musk ready to grant any wish, it's very doubtful she'll be buying furniture at Walmart.

Days later on May 21, Mr Murphy received a phone call from both Depp and Heard on speakerphone in which the actor asked him to repeat what he had already told him about what happened at their Los Angeles penthouse.

 

Mr Murphy said in a submission to the High Court in London revealed today: 'I then relayed to Ms Heard, again, that (housekeeper Hilda) Vargas had discovered faeces on top of the bed sheet in Mr Depp's and Ms Heard's bed.

'I then heard Mr Depp say he couldn't do this anymore and wanted a divorce. When Ms Heard would not stop yelling, I hung up the telephone. I received multiple additional telephone calls from the same number in the minutes that followed, but I did not answer them.' 

 

Ms Vargas said that on May 24, 2016, she was working at Depp's West Hollywood home when Heard arrived with her friend Raquel Pennington. The housekeeper claimed Ms Heard called her over and told her the photos she had taken of the faeces in the bed 'had destroyed her marriage'.

 

Ms Vargas said: 'I was very nervous and so I apologised, even I did not believe that their marital problems were my fault or that I had done anything wrong.
