rooster59 Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Seven new Covid-19 cases in state quarantine By THE NATION There were seven cases of Covid-19, the biggest increase over a 24-hour period in weeks, the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) reported on Saturday (July 18). But Thailand has gone 56 days without a domestic case. All the new patients had returned from foreign countries and were in state quarantine. Two had returned from the US, one from Bahrain and three from Egypt. In Thailand, the total number of cases since the outbreak, as of Saturday, was 3,246, with 58 deaths, 3,096 recoveries, and 92 undergoing treatment in hospitals. More than 4,200 people in Rayong and Bangkok, who were seen as at risk for Covid-19 infection following the cases of the Egyptian soldier On July 16, 1,244 Rayong people were tested in mobile labs while 97 got a virus test in Bangkok. There have been no positive results. 2229 on July 15th met the criteria for PUI. Positive cases are not released to the community as in other countries.
