It seems the issue could be resolved very easily and cheaply then if the plane is available for other government people to use. They could even say they just 'borrowed it from a friend.' Just ridiculous, I take a guess that not many police forces worldwide have their own dedicated planes. And Thailand has probably more than one. I just can speak for my home country Germany which has a federal state police system, therefore no need to own planes. However, they have helicopters. Maybe a good idea for Thailand.
