Trump says sending federal agents to more U.S. cities to fight violent crime

Washington Examiner - Graphic video of Portland riots prompts Fox to cut away from White House briefing

Here's Fox News' excuse:

"Fox News was not provided with any advance warning that a video using profanity would air during this afternoon’s White House press briefing," a network spokesperson later told the Washington Examiner. "Once it aired, Fox News made the decision it was inappropriate for a daytime audience and temporarily dropped out of coverage."

Reality is inappropriate for viewing.  LMAO.

Yes, exactly and don't forget common sense.

The lawsuit contended what? Did you even read it, and the supr. clause and if so, are u having problems with comprehension or being a troll, or both?

On the contrary, common sense is not part of any valid legal argument so can safely be forgotten.

William Barr would know better than either you or Napolitano.  You can go with Napolitnao.  I'll stick with Barr.

Used to be folks didn't cause destruction because for starters it's not right, but also because you know there are consequences...meaning being arrested. But we've come to an era where it seems to be OK to shut down major highways for protests, burn businesses, assault police and to top it off the folks who we pay to be in charge are in cahoots with the criminals.

Now when all this mayhem winds down the thugs will be demanding money not to start again.

crime- pedestrians  not prohibited on the highways in America!

crime burning buildings- arson,if people are inside ,attempted murder by arson.

crime- Assulting police.felony

crime- folks in charge -aiding and abetting !

Absolutely shocking pictures in Portland at the end of that video. Looks like a dystopian horror land.

About time Trump sent in federal agents to restore order.

Good decision.

What happens to the federal building when the Authorities leave!

By winding down do you mean the rioters were getting tired and seeing the feds woke them up. You do understand the populace will begin to catch on to the lies of the liberals. The world is watching American cities being destroyed and they (the liberals) try to lay blame on the feds who are the only ones trying to stop the destruction.

You know the TV screens will be filled with visions of out of control riots across the US with Trump's boys being the heros and putting a stop to it right up to election night. If the dems were smart they would have put a stop to the violence so Trump couldn't stand on Law and Order for the election. You were  hoping the cities would continue to burn and blame Trump for it. But oh the horror here comes Trump's boys to defeat the savages in the riots.

According to the guy  at the podium Antifa,BLM and the far left radicals have forced the far left mayor of Chicago to send in city workers to swoop in, to take CC statues away.

The Italian American's are <deleted> ! They are uniting all over America. I sent a email to lightfoot  expressing my disdain!

Good decision.

If that's what you imagine a "dystopian horror land" looks like, may I suggest that you're either:

1. Living a very sheltered life.

2. Do not follow much world news.

3. Trying very hard to hype things to the max.

What's on this clip is no different than other violent protests elsewhere. And to head off nonsense claims, not only in the 3ed world.

By the way, was order restored?

Total nonsense, there is no requirement for local officials to proffer an invitation.

Obviously since the ANTIFA hide among real protesters, wear masks and hoods, it's perfectly legitimate if law enforcement use the same stealth tactics.

Extremist violence and destruction, started by ANTIFA, requires extreme reaction.

So, in your mind, the standards applied to law enforcement officers and those breaking the law ought to be the same? No limits? No red lines? Everything goes? How can you tell the difference then? And no, wearing a MAGA cap is the wrong answer.

Someone here said earlier, "some vandalism."  Take a look at reality.

Again, is what's shown radically different from violent protests elsewhere? Why do Trump supporters here try so hard to hype things?

Your opinion is that Barr would know better. But as your opinion itself is, apparently, not based so much on legal expertise and knowledge, but rather on partisan views - there's little to recommend it as definitive. It kinda goes back to one of your previous exchanges, regarding how perceptions aren't based on facts but on political views. Wonder how that shoe feels.

A Trump supporter going on about law and order skips legal process to determine crimes, guilt. Got to love the consistency.

It's not right unless the feds are invited in by local officials and the forces invited in are actually trained in domestic situations and not operating in unmarked uniforms and vans. This is the sort of extremist authoritarianism tactic that the USA used to have the moral authority to complain about happening in other countries such as the Putin country.

Most of the federal law enforcement apparatus was already there. Second, they don't need to be invited to defend the taxpayers property and lastly, Trump should strongly consider mobilizing the Oregon National Guard, like he effectively did in Wash., DC, to maintain a clear zone between the courthouse and that park that the mob is staging from.  The federal agents go into the crowd and ID the firebomb throwers and choreographers for pickup later when they can be better isolated away from the garden variety muppets

Portland mayhem again ,what is it fifty eight days of far left radical protests! Now the hammer and sickle on the custom made shield,  just solidified what America is up against. ! 2:30 -  2:40

The Trump admin needs to expose more of the marxist thugs and put them in jail

Dreadful situation but the highlight of the week was the Mayor, apparently thinking he would be greeted like Che Guevara by his Komrades,  going to ground zero followed by a hasty retreat. The little rodent likely avoided a beatdown...or worse, from the mob only due to being surrounded by armed bodyguards

HYPE ! lol ,it ain't hard!   Many businesses are gone because of mayhem ,many probably never coming back to those areas ! Business store fronts  destroyed! Many neighborhoods in big cities have been subjected to arson, murder , looting, hundreds and hundreds of police have either been assaulted, maimed or injured. A guesstimate of a billion dollars worth of destruction!

People talking  nonsense  would have the world believe that these riots by the far left radical groups are just a summer love fest  and same ole same ole. They would have you believe the above never happen!

In the states, officials going into the fire, usually are accompanied by a paid detail of the cities cops!  Kinda wished they did!  He could demand they stand down as the mob surrounds him!

You're another poster who's trying to minimize the severity of the violence and project normalcy onto it.

Anyone with a couple of working neurons can research the law themselves.  And should if one wants to operate from knowledge rather than opinion.  You're making too many assumptions in your comment, and though they sound good they're not at all accurate.
