Didn't the elected PM that was ousted by him, a crime under the constitution so called escape under his watch? He or his side kicks still have not been elected by the people. He finally admitted to all he is a DICTATOR.

He should step down, and he should do it by tomorrow. He has shown himself to be terribly incompetent. And the two things that desperately need to be dealt with, the restoration of the economy, and the opening of the nation to international tourism, are being mishandled.

He will be replaced soon, no doubt about it. He is an embarrassment also for the elite, and the deadlock he manoeuvred the country in is too overwhelming. But, his successor likely will be just another general. Army chief Apirat Kongsompong.

 

Or, if the pressure from the streets becomes too big after a possible coup, they maybe will install a "civil government", preferable officially led by his friend Anutin, with lobbyists of the elite serving as ministers, but nevertheless following (also) the agenda of the army.

 

The only way to get rid of the meddling of the army into politics would be a revolution. Quite unlikely still. But who knows....maybe with the support of lower ranks of the army....

If the inept could be removed from office with wishful thinking...this thread could surely do it!   It takes real action from real Thais to achieve that goal.  And it comes with broken sculls,  dead bodies and blood on the streets.   Remember the ones who come next maybe worse than the ones deposed!  This is Thailand after all.
