Popular Post holy cow cm
He plainly needs to get out and disappear with all of his little regime clowns. No one cares about him or his little fat watch boss or regime cronies or high so elite. His only job left is to Get Out for the good sake of all Thai people. I look forward to see the day of all the Thai Happy again.
Popular Post Scot123
Didn't the elected PM that was ousted by him, a crime under the constitution so called escape under his watch? He or his side kicks still have not been elected by the people. He finally admitted to all he is a DICTATOR.

So can we now please finally call "a spade a spade" here on Thaivisa ? 4

The dictator is busy now. He's trying to find away to avoid the creation of a substantial, educated Thai middle class and find a sucker to invest in the EEC.

Popular Post spidermike007
He should step down, and he should do it by tomorrow. He has shown himself to be terribly incompetent. And the two things that desperately need to be dealt with, the restoration of the economy, and the opening of the nation to international tourism, are being mishandled. Replace Prayuth now! Get the army out now! Admit you are in over your head.

Get the army out now! Admit you are in over your head. He will be replaced soon, no doubt about it. He is an embarrassment also for the elite, and the deadlock he manoeuvred the country in is too overwhelming. But, his successor likely will be just another general. Army chief Apirat Kongsompong. Or, if the pressure from the streets becomes too big after a possible coup, they maybe will install a "civil government", preferable officially led by his friend Anutin, with lobbyists of the elite serving as ministers, but nevertheless following (also) the agenda of the army. The only way to get rid of the meddling of the army into politics would be a revolution. Quite unlikely still. But who knows....maybe with the support of lower ranks of the army....

But will this "someone" be more competent than inept Prayut? I have my doubts. Same same but different. Different only regarding the tinsel at his uniform, but still dumb as a flowerpot. Same same to Prayut. It needs a bigger meteorite to extinguish the Thai dinosaurs.
NoshowJones
"despite calls from opposition MPs for him to step down". and here's me thinking there wasn't any opposition, I was probably wrong in thinking that, so who is the opposition? I thought it was the FFP (Future Forward Party) that the "PM" got rid off.

Would like to agree, but sorrry, I can't. If he steps down, what will happen? Psychopathic Apirat for PM, or farang-hater Anutin, or the convicted drug dealer Thamanat? LOS is a LOST country. It needs a revolution to be rescued, to transform this Mafia-state of corrupt generals and selfish oligarchs into a democracy. But will this happen, ever? Can't see any smiles coming in LOS. Sad.

Grumpy John
If the inept could be removed from office with wishful thinking...this thread could surely do it! It takes real action from real Thais to achieve that goal. And it comes with broken sculls, dead bodies and blood on the streets. Remember the ones who come next maybe worse than the ones deposed! This is Thailand after all. Edited September 12, 2020 by Grumpy John Smelling
