4T SAE 30 oil: Where to buy

Featured Replies

My mower needs an oil change, and Honda as well as virtually every independent website recommends SAE 30 or a Synthetic.  All I found yesterday was SAE 40, even in shops that sold similar size Honda engines.  Any ideas (of the majors, Global House and HomePro mymee)

Have resorted to printing out pictures since people keep thinking I'm asking for Petrol (or maybe gas to you).

SAE 30 is for European temperatures, SAE 40 is for Thailand temperatures. So SAE 40 is the correct oil, and it explains why you have troubles finding SAE 30 oil.

My Honda mower has oil I bought in a mower sales/repair shop, nothing fancy in a plastic bottle.....Now the oil may have cooked chips in its previous life but the Honda engine is near bulletproof...????

Thanks for the replies.

I found the Honda oil at the agricultural machinery dealer by the river near Embassy condominiums.  Pricier than the SAE 40 from Global House but I only change it a couple of times a year so it didn't hurt too much.

Just bought from Lazada 181 baht delivered from shop called Oilsquare, came in a day or so from order. Use it for my air compressor and -tools.
