Ten Nakhon Ratchasima districts on alert for flooding as dam nears overflow point

The chiefs of 10 districts in Nakhon Ratchasima province have been told to issue urgent warnings to local people to beware of floods, as continuous rains could cause water in the Lam Ta Khong dam, which is now at 96.43 per cent of its capacity, to overflow.

LOS ANGELES, (Variety.com) - Liam Neeson's thriller "Honest Thief" limped to first place at the domestic box office, debuting at $3.7 million. Those ticket sales, among the lowest ever to land at No. 1, came in slightly ahead of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" and Robert De Niro's family comedy "War With Grandpa."

BANGKOK (NNT) - After a large amount of water burst out of Hin Ta Ngo reservoir and flooded areas of Pak Thong Chai district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, on Saturday, officials have been sent to inspect the damage and undertake repairs. The Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has instructed relevant agencies to monitor water levels closely, and promptly evacuate people to safety, if necessary.

(Reuters) - Britain's Oxford University said on Monday initial findings from a study on the long term impact of COVID-19 has found that a large number of patients discharged from hospitals still experience symptoms of breathlessness, fatigue, anxiety and depression two to three months after contracting the virus.
