BANGKOK (NNT) - Given the popularity of the short video platform TikTok, the Department of Mental Health has launched a TikTok challenge promoting mental health awareness among younger generations in this year’s Mental Health Week.

The Department of Mental Health today announced its new campaign promoting mental health via online platforms as part of this year’s Mental Health Week, on the theme of Working Together.

This year, the department aims to collectively promote useful mental health promotion content to the general public, in order to help them pass through crises in a good state of mind.

One of the campaigns launched as part of this initiative is a challenge on the TikTok video platform, where users are encouraged to share their three best personal tips on how they take care of their mental health, on the app.

The Department of Mental Health’s Director General Dr Panpimol Wipulakorn has on this occasion signed an agreement with the Health Service Support Department, and telecom provider Advanced Info Service (AIS), to enable new functions on a mobile app developed for village health volunteers.

These new functions will allow village health volunteers to screen people in their villages for symptoms, and take care of the villagers’ mental health.

1. Take a tour to a immigration office without reason.

2. Watch us election on CNN

3. Go on a roller-coaster ride through Bangkok with a motorbike taxi.

three best personal tips on how they take care of their mental health,

Here are my 3 tips:

1 - Obsessively surf Pornhub (now by using a VPN, of course)

2 - Don't participate in Tik Tok challenges because they might challenge your mental health

3 - Think for yourself instead of just doing what others tell you to do

1. Delete TikTok

2. Delete Instagram

3. Throw away the TV

Your mental health and self-esteem will improve 100% guaranteed
