webfact Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Songkhla rescuers rehearse for ‘perfect storm’ By THE NATION Officials in Songkhla province conducted a disaster-response drill on Thursday as part of preparations for storms during the rainy season. Rescuers responded to a simulated situation in which a storm-hit fishing boat had collided with a car ferry. The rehearsal was staged by the subdistrict administrative organisation (SAO) in Muang district. SAO official Praphan Srisuwan explained that the southern province was lashed by heavy rains and high wind between the months of October and January.
