Good question and as you can tell, you didn't get any answers.

What we all know is that Biden will in no way do a better job than Trump.  I could list the.reasons, but that could be construed as violating TV posting rules.

Simply by not being trump is better.

Notice how divided the country is? Notice how many dying of covid and infections going thru the roof while he plays golf.

Notice biden listening to the science.

Oh, and trump has no policies, can you post them here for us?

Bush jnr was terrible but trump has so easily gone lower.

one would hope.....but there are media reports that biden is considering hillary as un ambassador.

kee-ripes!  she's the reason trump was elected in 2016!  send her back into the woods, dangit!

Records were set in employment many businesses that Obama said would never return did.

People of all taxable levels got a tax break and more money

Nato countries are now or were trying to pay their way more

North Korea has been silent

ISIS was minimilized

China was put in it's place as a country ripping off people

He got rid of NAFTA and got a better deal for all 3 countries

and most importantly  he started the process of getting people out of jail that did not deserve it and getting them back into society,

He also received the highest percentage of black and Latino votes of any GOP before him.

He got the American troops out of as many places as he could

When the Biden plans of high taxes, high wages and high cost of functioning as well as high debt along with his6-8week country wide shut down including sports and all business hits it will be interesting to see.

Remember this was not a vote against TRUMPS record or infavour of Biden this was the people that supposedly hated trump .

The other thing that history I am sure wil ltell us is if this was a rigged election or not.

Oki.

Hitler was great for the german economy, he also built the autoban.

At what cost has trump been "better than obama?"

Yeah, first and foremost he wont be an embarrassing self absorbed dishonest divisive tool that intentionally pits half the country against each other for his own personal and political gain that blames his failures on others and takes no responsibility or leadership. Oh he wasnt just divisive domestically, he pretty much set the us apart from every other world leader, barring a select few.

I think there are some fair points in your post. It's disappointing you had to finish with the rigged thing which is totally made up.

The tax cuts though benefitted the rich by far and is likely to have lead to much higher debt. You may argue it helped the economy but its hard to argue that he didn't inherit a pretty good economy from Obama.

The problem I see though is that you are leaving out many bad things:

his treatment of Covid and in turn the economy

his turning a blind eye or advocating for dictators, while diminishing relations with allies, and organisations such as WHO. These policies affect real lives.

his lack of any action on climate change and in fact bringing in policies bad for the environment

his actions with Ukraine leading to impeachment

not taken any action on guns

no action on health care

termination of the Iran deal

North Korea less in the news but  just as dangerous as before

locked kids in cages and general poor treatment of refugees and immigrants

started a trade war with China that may have had initial merit but the result has been poor or mixed for both countries and the government had to pay 28 billion to farmers

his disregard for democracy, stoking of hatred,  rewarding of his supporters and his constant tedious lies.

I don't think it's fair to call Biden's tax rises significant - it's just on those earning over $400,000. And yes Biden may have to take stronger action on Covid for a while but are you happy to see 2000 deaths a day that is being predicted. 1200 today. I doubt he'll do a major lockdown  but maybe in some areas it'll be necessary. I live in covid free Australia. You take action and you can get good results.

Biden will bring in more tax revenue, better health care, a decent policy on climate change, better international relations,  fairer conditions and pay for workers etc etc. Moody's say Biden's policies are better for the economy. Just having a decent guy in the White House is a good thing.

Its really simple.

Bidens policies for his vision for the US are on his website for you to consider.

Trumps policies are....where?

So ask yourself, why vote for a person who has no policy except to keep out of jail at the cost of democracy.

I always think that they are not really voting for a president but for a party. Otherwise i just can't explain it.

Someone who is caught lying and cheating all the time isn't that bright and is highly dividing can't be just the choice of those 72 million must be more like they don't like the idea's of the democrats and prefer to vote for their own side no matter how bad the figurehead is.

I find it difficult to believe Biden could possibly do worse than Trump in dealing with the pandemic. When you find Trump's health plan that was going to replace Obamacare, let me know.

Biden will also be addressing the issue of climate change. IMO that is sufficient answer to your question.

Here's a question for you. Why do you admire a sociopathic, narcissistic bully whose method of government is to surround himself with sycophants, and attack, demean and insult anyone who has the temerity to disagree with him?

I discussed that very same thing with an American professor here and he described it as a sort of cognitive dissonance, whereby when the cult leader says something which is blatantly a lie/rubbish, they are able to dismiss it because it doesn't fit in with what they want to believe, i.e. that the Republican Party is the best party for them, or that trump is the best man for the job, so they just do not take into consideration his lies, cheating and double-dealing.

Strange as it may seem, I would say that this could be true of a vast majority of trump supporters because there is no real reason to support this poor excuse for a human being and compulsive liar. BUT, the sad thing for the US is that there are key figures in the Republican party who will overlook all of the lies and liar in chief's failings, and although cognitive dissonance may be one reason, quite possibly the other is that they are scared of this buffoon and what he could possibly do to them/their careers.

In other words gutless and not looking out for the best interests of the American people.

Hello Sujo,

Thank you for your interest in my post. My understanding was that Biden had won but one of my American friends, who lives in Thailand, and is highly intelligent and well travelled, sent me the Biden link earlier today. Below is a screen shot of my conversation with him about the link. My comments are in green.

I posted the link on this thread to see what the reaction would be from his fellow Americans. It was not intended as a troll post; I am just interested to read any comments that might clarify things for me.

Best wishes  ????☺️????

Americans are conditioned from the cradle to believe socialism is bad. The left label is stuck on the Democrats by the Republicans as a matter of course, when in most sensible countries the Democrat party would be regarded as right of centre.

America now averages over 1000 deaths per day from coronavirus, with over 100,000 new cases coming onto the books every day. And it's accelerating as the USA moves deeper into winter.

A socialist government in Victoria, Australia has just passed a milestone of 15 days with ZERO deaths or new cases. State your preference.

A bit of an oxymoron there silver sea, where you post that one of your American friends who lives in Thailand is highly intelligent, yet on your post, this highly intelligent person you speak of mentions, "Biden is deep state".

Do a bit of research on this "deep state" nonsense and you will find that it's a figment of the far right's imagination.

In future I wouldn't listen to what your "highly intelligent" friend has to say because he's clearly not what you say he is!!!

There is such a thing as selective intelligence, in some it is highly selective of inputs.

At a White House event where he predicted a coronavirus vaccine would be available for the whole population by April, Trump edged closer to acknowledging he might leave the White House in January but stopped short.

You can't make such things up. Impossible! He might leave where he doesn't belong? Give me a break, please. Get the fraggg out of there.
