All those top end lawyers, who it seems had no scruples about signing up to using the legal process to frustrate the electoral process ($$ no doubt playing a part there) jumping ship when they realised just what they were getting involved with!

 

The week before the 2016 election DT started his "rigged election" bs.  After the results were in if the Dems weren't such wimps they would have called him on it "hey, maybe you're right, let's look into it, we have nothing to lose" and the whole game would have changed. This time around he started months before, even putting a lackey in charge of the postal system to sabotage the mail-in. 

This new trend of challenging elections started with Bush v Gore, and if the contention was not in a state where the brother of one of the candidates was the governor it would not have happened.  Notice that since then there has been ZERO effort, by either party, to correct some of the questionable aspects of election law that came to light in that case.

I was watching the results of the 2012 election come in on Fox (in my Thai apartment it was the only channel I could get that had it) and when they called Ohio for Obama Karl Rove started throwing up a fuss, "NO WAY HE CARRIED _____ COUNTY!" etc.  I think Ailes himself squelched that one.

 

As we all know DT has no qualms about putting his finger on the scale, and probably thinks of truth as a vice.  His whole life has been about lawsuits.
