Medical Help Needed Finding Suitable Doctor in Germany or USA or UK

Help save Da Roadrunner!

Need help finding the right doctor.

CONDITION:- Gut damaged by Ciprofloxacin antibiotics. Can no longer eat Gluten, Soy or Dairy. Damaged Microbiome and Dysbiosis, Leaky Gut Syndrome. As a result there is also an Autoimmune reaction. Plus Mitochondrial damage which caused Chronic Fatigue. Also noted elevated Liver function results, possibly caused by Autoimmune?

REQUIRED TREATMENT:- Need to heal the Gut and reverse Autoimmune.

REQUIRED DOCTOR:- A Functional Medicine Practitioner, with experience of my condition. Likely in the USA or Germany, or maybe England. Prefer one who is also an MD.

Thanks to all for responding.

Yes thanks. It is an option. But first need lab tests to get to the root cause. England is very limited as far as tests go, with Germany and USA the best. Thank God I am not still in Thailand trying to deal with this! Essential to find the doctor who knows his stuff.

I think if you are looking for a Gastrointestinal Specialist in Germany, UK, or US then you're definitely using the wrong forum.

I was going to mention the fecal transplant too.

Have you already started the regime of taking Probiotics and adopted a limited diet prescribed to specifically help rebuild the biome and intestinal wall (as well as keep you alive and sane in the meanwhile)?

OP....it seems you have a very detailed and comprehensive breakdown of your medical condition.

Where was the doctor / hospital that examined and performed the medical tests on your for these results?  They seem to know what they are talking about so why not continue using them, unless they are charging too much?

The impression of knowledge comes from my bird brain, unfortunately cannot say the same for most of the doctors! I was in Thailand when this started and soon discovered the Thai doctors were out of their depth.

Returning to England I found that standard western medicine has nothing to offer those of us suffering from Leaky Gut and the resultant Autoimmune. A Functional Medicine Practitioner is what is needed. Germany and USA are the most advanced and have the most comprehensive labs. Finding the right doctor is proving to be exceedingly difficult. Get the wrong one and you are wasting your time, not to mention a bucket load of money.

And so, Da Roadrunner puts the word out to his many friends on Thai Visa.
