What a load of cobblers.

Not at all.

But considered as quite normal.

Leave means leave , Auf Weidersen

Why ever the need from the U.K., after the Brexit vote, to knock at the door of the E.U. to discuss deals.

On what ground did the U.K. believed they would get what they want?

Did they never thought of the simple reasoning of the E.U.:

"You left, fine. Now you want deals with us, also fine, here are our conditions"

You wanted, you voted, you got it.

Why the need to knock at the door after?

Unless changing of attitude of Mr. Johson, you will be at the same point you were 4 years ago, being :

" We now left the E.U., the World is there for us".

We joined because the government of the day was led by a convinced but lying Europhile PM who eventually won a tiny majority in the HoC. There was no referendum and by the time one happened in 1975 the British had been lied to yet again plus the bad effects of the EEC had not yet all become evident, plus, by then, it had not mutated into the mainly political monster it is today.

We voted to be in a COMMON MARKET how. Many more times.

If it wasn't for the EU, you would be speaking English with an American accent.

At least you don't claim (like this other poster) that you saved us singlehandedly.

And may I congratulate you for mentioning Russia.

No problem, pity you and the rest of europe don,t acknowledge it.
