July 16Jul 16 Would you like to have a new life after your earhtly death? I for one find my 1 live as sufficient, not looking for any sort of "repetition" in any sort of way.Looking back, 50% of my life I spent in "neutral mode". Floating thru life. 40% consisted of dealing with adverse events. Only 10% of my time I would consider as absolut and unconditional "happyness".What about "paradise"? I can not imagine what any paradise would be like. But surely governed by some autocrat. I would not want to argue with any "gods". Being reborn as a cow in India or being reborn as a worm on some farmland in Nebraska? I'd rather not. OR WORST OF ALL: Being reborn to this world as a club swinging Viking? Repeating "earthly existence" once more? Rather not.I personally prefer to drift away into eternal "nothingness" once my earthly final curtain falls. Basically returning to a state of "nothingness" before I was born. In some sort of way, the best time of my live.😉A bid morbid the whole thing. We don't like to talk about death in general. The old Romans have seen death in a more relaxed way. After Julius Ceasar conquered Asterix and Obelix in France, while celebrating his victory on a chariot driving thru Rome, he had a slave nearby whispering in 2 minute intervals in his ear: "Memento Mory". Freely translated: "You too will die".

July 16Jul 16 If the only option is being reborn in the future, then perhaps not - this planet is heading for the worst of times. But if the past is an option, yes please.

July 16Jul 16 It would surely be a cruel joke if all you've done in your life, from enjoying music, history, food, hobbies, companionship from humans and animals, the sights, sounds and smells of life and all the good things you enjoyed, to all of a sudden just end. This is why we believe. That there's a God who gave us, if not all of us until we all pass, these things, to show us what's coming after, with all of those things without the pain, misery, fear, anxiety, worry and death this life has.Much more desirable than even the best things we enjoyed. By tweaking our genes with drugs to mimick their genes or sth like that.

As an engineer, I believe in the law regarding conservation of energy. The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another, meaning the total energy in an isolated system always remains constant. So, when we depart, our energy will transfer. To where, who knows! But, I hope it goes to good use!

For those that believe in another life or heaven, I think it is more a concept of the 'soul' being transferred. There is no proof that a soul exists or has energy. Perhaps bodily energy and the soul could be transferred to two different places.

July 17Jul 17 How do I prove that I am me? 🤔I'm considering how to make a last will, leaving everything to myself in me in my next incarnation, so I don't need to start financially from scratch, if I don't manage to use everything in this life. It should make sense if reincarnation is possible, right? And about paradise: It seems like I'm already there — at least so they say, when marketing the island I live on — so, that's part of the plan, remaining in paradise, both in afterlife and my next incarnation; the latter by leaving what I already got to myself...😉
