Have recently been put on Entresto- a heart medication used to treat blood pressure issues. 

Can anyone kindly recommend a Bangkok pharmacy that carries entresto- either in 100mg or 200mg dosage.

To date I have used the hospital pharmacy to purchase Entresto but at  outrageous prices --180b per pill.

I have searched at my local mom and pop pharmacies as well as the Central Shopping Rx's- but to no avail.

Entresto has no generic version so its high cost may be the reason most local pharmacies don't carry it.

I would try Fascino - main branch across from Siriraj Hospital. There are a few other large pharmacies in that same area. Phine is 088 290 9871

It will still be extremely expensive. While there is mark up on drugs at private hospitals , the extent of mark up is less when it comes to really expensive drugs than it is for others.

 

Sheryl, I see where Entresto is a combination of two other drugs.  Is it possible to buy these two drugs separately and save money?

No as one of the 2 drugs is not available in any other form.

Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions. I did find a suitable pharmacy named Chula MD located on rama 4 Road. 022341297 is their number in case anyone is interested. Entresto is 40 % cheaper at this store than my hospital, still expensive but manageable. They have very good prices for additional heart related meds, statins, blood thinners etc. Thanks again sheryl
