Hello,

I am looking for advice on the below situation:

My husband and I are both foreigners and his job contract is currently not extended due to the company's cost cutting.

His Non B Visa is expiring by the first week of Feb 2021. I just recently resigned from my job and have a dependant visa as his spouse, which means both of us won't have stay permit in Thailand very soon.

Question:

- Can we extend our stay in Thailand by applying for a Tourist Visa or Unable to Travel Visa?

- If so, how early can we do that? do we have to wait closer to the expiration date of the current visa?

Thank you for your help and would appreciate any advice from those who have been in the same situation.

You cannot apply for a tourist visa.

You could apply for a 60 day covid 19 exenson on or before January 29 (last day for them at this time).

You may have to cancel your current extensions prior to doing the application.
