I have to go back to Immigration to show that my 800K has stayed in my account for 90 days after my yearly Extension of Stay was issued.  The due date is on Sunday.

Am I supposed to go on Friday or Monday?

Go anytime after 3 months. Tell them you have been out of province.

Still better don't go at all and tell imm offices such as Jomtien that it's not a requirement.

No need to tell lies, immigration was closed on Sunday.

It would be taking a risk not to comply.....although I confess I skipped it earlier this year, preferring not to risk Covid when it was due... no repercussions.

I have to admit as someone who did this bank report last year that I seriously doubt there would have been any consequence to not reporting. On the next extension they check anyway. If you haven't complied, doesn't it just mean that they catch you later?

I guess we would need to hear from a bunch of people at Jomtien that didn't report to know if they were ever contacted about that and if it came up at their extension assuming they could prove they complied then. But I doubt there are enough people that haven't complied reading this forum to gather that kind of information.

I agree that it is futile, but I am keen to remain here and offer them no opportunity to give me grief. If I have been given a slip of paper telling me to return, and maybe (maybe not) I have signed a paper saying I understand that requirement, along with the other gumfph, I will do so, and not fret over it next renewal, even if I did retain the money.

Unpleasant to be dangled on a string but there it is.
