It’s only in Samut Sakhon so nothing to worry about

  • 360+8=382. Who said Thai education was bad.

  • No point doing normal temperature checks and contact tracings as 90% of the infections are asymptomatic. The only way is do massive tests to check the how many are actually infected. Else, just focus

But it's not only in Samut Sakhon.  I suggest you read all the posts about this here on TVF.  It's showing up all over Issan, Central and Northern Thailand.  and these are just the cases they know about.

Just read an article in the BP that says provincial lockdowns for certain localities are being discussed today.  All I can say is be prepared.

Seems to be fast moving.  1,000 cases in just a few days.  With probably thousands more undetected.

@Jeffr2

  Please read this

yesterday some thai girl sent me text that her family members got the virus. they r in a hospital. they have high fever. they recently visited samut sakhon market.

those people live no where near samut sakhon. they live really far from that place. So it is not just in samut sakhon.

It is upto thai authorities if they report these cases as covid or "viral pneumonia ".

Would not surprise me if this arose out of the Thai's who illegally crossed back into Thailand from Myanmar a short while back and then dispersed into the communities.  I am sure not all turned themselves in, but then Anutin has an agenda and has already blamed the Burmese in Samut Sakhon. Waiting on a report explaining that the Burmese workers were here for a long time and none were illegally here after recently entering.  However, that would not fit the view this government has.

They are using them.  40,000 in just the past few days.

Please show a link to where they are shipping them out of the country.

The hospital will do the test, per the MOPH guidelines, and if Covid, they will report it.  Pneumonia is still happening.

Crazy times....

I'm sure that's exactly what happened.  Casino workers allowed to enter Thailand from Burma without a quarantine.  Illegal migrants crossing the border, probably with help from traffickers.  And the help of local officials.  What could possible go wrong! 55555

Actually the report is 360 migrant workers; 14 local transmission among Thai and 8 imported in quarantine.  That does total 382.

For today only 4 new cases found in Samut Prakan up to about an hour ago.

It is not the Thai education that is lacking, but your own.

See the start of the sentence?  "Of the new cases...".

So they have identified the origin of 368 of the newly discovered infections, while a further 14 are yet to be determined.

But don't let your smugness get in the way of your unnecessary Thai bashing.
