Robotics and automation sees a whopping Bt167 billion of investment in three years

A Cabinet meeting on December 22 acknowledged the progress in the plan to develop robotics and automation across a variety of key sectors presented by the Industry Ministry, government deputy spokeswoman Ratchada Thanadirek said on Wednesday.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand confirmed 67 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, of which nine were imported from overseas, the public health ministry said.

58 new domestic cases, no countrywide lockdown for now

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration on Thursday (CCSA) reported 67 new cases – 58 domestic ones – over a 24-hour period, while spokesman Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin confirmed that there would not be a lockdown across the country for now.

Employers warned against hiding migrant workers, especially undocumented ones

Business owners are required to report the number of migrant workers they have hired, while officials from the Department of Industrial Works in each province have been instructed to keep a close eye on the state of foreign workers, Industry Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit said on Thursday.

Fisheries Chief: Aquatic Animals Safe from COVID
