Boris promised to extract us from the EU, he delivered and with the hand T May left him it is nothing short of a miracle, he will definately go down as one of the greatest leaders of all time.

You're still angry he didn't top himself in that ditch, right.

There’s time yet.

UK MUST follow EU rules! Leo Varadkar says Brussels has power to BLOCK Britain from market

IRELAND's deputy prime minister Leo Varadkar has said that the UK's access to the European market is "not unconditional" as he sought to dampen the bright mood among Brexiteers over Boris Johnson's trade deal.

Why the sudden concern for the fishing industry?higher education system?,what a resounding success that is when we,ve got 2 million eu citizens here doing the jobs british citizens can,t do,and "the highly important uk financial services industry " those shiny arsed spivs who nearly caused the banking industry to collapse in 2008 then had to go cap in hand to the government to bail them out using taxpayers money which led to years of austerity and all that happened under the watch of a labour party, albeit an asino version.

It wasn’t me who made promises to the UK’s fishing industry.

The UK’s higher education system is a resounding success.

The financial services industry, for all its faults, is the source of significant foreign earnings and tax revenue.

2million EU citizens working in the UK are indeed doing jobs British citizens can’t, or rather won’t, do - They arrived, educated and trained at zero cost to the UK economy.

We all know Boris Johnson  is not a details man, what he likes above all is to party ????

A trip Boris Johnson made to Italy for a party held by a billionaire socialite ended with the then foreign secretary at an airport “looking like he had slept in his clothes”, struggling to walk in a straight line and telling other passengers he had had a heavy night, the Guardian has been told.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jul/26/boris-johnson-security-evgeny-lebedev-perugia-party

Pictures of the now prime minister along with an account from a fellow traveller shed further light on Johnson’s weekend away at the home of the media owner Evgeny Lebedev, who is known for hosting uproarious parties for the rich and famous at his converted castle near Perugia. Johnson has refused to answer questions about the visit in April last year, including whether he flew to Italy against the advice of his officials and without the 24/7 security detail usually assigned to the foreign secretary.

Quote

“It was a surprise to see him. There was nobody with him and he didn’t appear to have any luggage,” said the source. “He was such a mess. He was quite dishevelled and his trousers were twisted and creased. He looked like he had slept in his clothes.”

Johnson was recognised by other British and Italian travellers, some of whom asked for selfies, before he retreated into a corner of the departure lounge to snooze.

'The UK is not extracted from the EU, it is forever bound by geography and  consequently comnercial, trading, security ties, etc, to the EU.

If you are going to criticise other's English ability you would do well to refrain from childish emojis and instead use the language properly yourself.

I'd call it initiative. Why else has :signthaivisa: made them so readily available?

I'm not at all surprised that you've missed the point.

Perhaps you’d like to provide evidence that Brexit has delivered its promise to the UK fishing industry, has not damaged the UK’s higher education industry and has not damaged the highly important UK financial services industry.

I'm not in your league when it comes to guesswork.

What like project fear?

The WA and now this agreement, whilst better than the suicidal no deal hard Brexiteers wanted, have both proven what Vote.Leave labelled as project fear was, in fact, project reality.

I suggest you read the draft agreement  link is here

https://ec.europa.eu/info/files/eu-uk-trade-and-cooperation-agreement_en

As for NI and Scotland it will be decades before they become members of the EU, unless the EU ignore their own rules like they did for Greece

But I suspect the EU  frugal  five will ensure that doesn't happen

For NI and Scotland zero negotiations will be needed. And with a 2/3 majority of the voters seen the expectations, it can be finished in a day.

OMG....just thought...imagine if we could have just rolled over the FTA we already had with the EU........

For an agreement, you need TWO parties to agree. The time, the Empire could force their will on others, is already a century over. When a country does NOT want to roll over their agreement with the much bigger EU to a smaller nation as now the UK, the British are stuck. Maybe against some fisher ships the UK warships might impress, but the rest of the world....

"The ???????? don't have a word for entrepreneur"!  :clap2:

While economic thinkers have long known that business owners (aka 'capitalists') are vital to economic growth and wealth creation, the word 'entrepreneur' only appeared in the 1800s. Coined by economic philosopher Jean-Baptiste Say, the word comes from French, where it means "undertaker" - i.e. one who undertakes a new venture.
