Uzbekistan National arrested and accused of stealing cash and valuables from her former friend and room mate.

Over the weekend, an arrest warrant was issued for Miss. Manzura Turdieva aged 38 from Uzbekistan relating to an alleged theft of 500,000 Baht, 14,000 US Dollars, a 3 Baht weighted Gold necklace worth 33,000 Baht and two gold rings from Miss. Nargiza Khayitova aged 29 also from Uzbekistan.

The alleged theft took place at the Mr. Beam Hotel on 3rd May where both the victim and the suspected thief stayed together.

Miss Turdieva was spotted by the complainant at the front of Walking Street early on Wednesday Morning and subsequently called the Police. Miss Turdieva vehemently denied all allegations of theft; however Police were obliged to detain her because of the arrest warrant.

The case will now be heard at the Pattaya Provincial Court later this week.
