Several areas in the capital are being cleaned to prevent the spread of Covid-19 as well as cut down on pollution. The areas targeted include Thung Khru, Klong Sam Wa, Phya Thai, Sai Mai to name a few.

Under collaboration with several agencies and local communities, Bangkok officials washed several roads, footpaths, footbridges, bus stops, ATM booths and any other frequently touched areas with alcohol and antiseptic solutions on Wednesday. They also sprayed water in the air to ring down dust particles, especially in crowded places.

Wouldn't be better to try to stop the dust particles at it's source?

It is difficult to respond to those photoes wit a straight face.

I mean well done for the workers in the pics,

but imagine this day in day out throughout EVERY district in Bangkok?????

Would help also if they placed trash receptacles around locations, and ensured they were emptied regularly.  Would keep the natives from throwing trash on the side of the road, at the top of the stairs, in the cracks and the planters.....I could go on and on.  Filthy pigs those that can not take it with them and throw it away responsibly.  Ofcourse the sidewalks need to be repaired, on some paths the tiles are loose, and I fear that there may be a sinkhole underneath that I will be swallowed into somedays when I head out on my run.

Don't need wash hands, wash everything else! I think soon need use glove's same way than mask! Coz cost too much to wash hole Bangkok! :clap2:

You can clean a pole with alcohol spray or p1ss on it. I firmly believe it has the same effect on the virus.

Just like plissing on a jelly fish sting, makes it less painful.

oh they are following the trump, put bleach on it

one infected person walking , breathing , coughing, sneezing around makes all this useless

Its a pity they cant do this  regularly...in all Thai cities, & employ road sweepers
