Infectious disease spokesman Dr Opas Kankawinpong has responded to criticism about the Mor Chana application.

Thais have been complaining that it is not effective and compares unfavorably to the Thai Chana app.

Dr Opas said it was very accurate and an excellent tracing tool.

It could create a timeline of a person's movements down to the minute and get round any possible false reporting by people who might not remember their movements.

He said that any glitches in the system would be sorted by next week.

Love the vague threat here.

Google Maps has a great timeline feature already. Happy to share it with the authorites if asked.

He confirms It still has glitches so this statement is untrue.

How much extra drain did it put on your battery exactly?

Tried reply yesterday but my battery ran out the way TV was up and down yesterday. About 15 to 20%
