When foreign tourists return to Thailand they can expect to enjoy plenty of new dishes utilizing the now decriminalized parts of marijuana plants.

 

Among some of the delights on menus in the kingdom will be Ganja Noodles, spicy marijuana salad, biscuits, cookies and shortbread.

 

Referencing a rice dish with meat and basil The Bangkok Insight even suggested one called "Happy Kapow".

Health minister and DPM Anutin Charnvirakul said yesterday that the MOPH and the education ministry will be collaborating on a drive to improve understanding about the use of weed in menus, at spas and for the tourist market.

 

However, those who want to get high on the new food may be disappointed, notes Thaivisa.

The flowers, buds and leaves on the buds that contain the drug that makes you high are still illegal as well as the seeds.

 

Only the leaves will be used in cooking.

I'm no plant scientist, but doesn't one need seeds to grow pot plants? Having said that,  I know the commercial growers in Colorado grow pot with cuttings but initially they needed at least one seed. And how does one grow this plant that only produces the legal fan leaves?

Yeah, and the minute you step foot outside the restaurant you are greeted by 4 members of the RTP, equipped with a drugs test kit and a tub for urine.

EDIT ... unless its an autoflower (bred) ... the flowering relies on the photoperiod

Get a prescription, I do every 3 months , I bring police station and the y accept in Korat 200baht at Clinic near Don Muang Airport  , Beautiful Clinic and Staff I have terrible Insomnia, right away give me snd I get CBD oil

This also may lead to another problem .... when the underground scene starts producing 100mg THC cookies alot of people who thought these fake cookies were working are going to have a THC meltdown????

This is at best a bad joke. Start insinuating that ganja (marijuana) can be used for cooking and the less astute tourists will find their vacation ending in prison.

Just Plain Hemp seed ,the pure Hemp doesn't have the THC .

Hemp is the plant that they make clothing and rope and seeds for birds.
