May 11, 200718 yr Absolutely agree, cdnvic. If you don't have anything other than snide comments to contribute then don't post anything at all.
May 12, 200718 yr Just to let you know out there what's my intention of thread like this: There are people out there they even don't how know to spell Computer! Others don't know just how to burn a CD and and and ....................................................! Other's don't like to get the info or better: Don't let others get the info how to work with something! In this case, Microsoft Windows Server 2007 Codename "Longhorn" is just released as Beta 3 for app. 3 weeks! Major changes are done in this version with something complete new. There less informations available and sometimes very difficult to find. My intention of this, my thread was just to give the infos where to find reliable information. Because the "Longhorn" is an Microsoft Product, the most acurate info in the moment (which will be change for something to 3. party in the future) will be find on the MS-Site! I working since Windows NT 3 with all verions of Server OS's from MS. And I would never show that I know "everything" and don't need any more info! Humans who shows that they know "all" and don't need or want more info, are, in my mind, stupid! For my person I'm happy if someone can tell me how, where and on which way I can find "more" info even for something which I know very well! I'm a very imperfect human and I like to be so! Thanks

Thanks Anyone with sufficient interest in Longhorn can find (and probably already has) all that information and more simply by visiting Microsoft's web site. I fail to see the value of copying and pasting stuff off the company's site. Do you have any opinions, thoughts or insights into the new features/benefits of Longhorn that may be of some value/interest to others?

Some of us who have interests in this type of subject don't always have time to look at every nook and cranny of the Internet to find this type of info. I wasn't aware of Longhorn until it was brought up here and I found it interesting. As a mod, my time is also limited in looking for new technologies and often rely upon this sub-forum to help keep me informed, as I'm sure it does many others. Accusing a member of too much information is not in keeping with one of the purposes of this forum, information sharing. One mod has already cautioned you and now you have two.
