PM calls for inspection of venues after relaxation of precautions

BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has reiterated that a recent relaxation of measures was possible due to effective control of COVID-19, explaining that high infection numbers esult from proactive testing.

 

The PM has pressed relevant agencies to inspect venues where measures have been relaxed to ensure compliance with remaining conditions and said there would still be inspections of at risk areas on a regular basis. Places found to be violating rules will be shutdown.

 

The premier stated that legal action would be taken against infected people who are found to have attended get -togethers.

 

Gen Prayut today clarified that the government’s vaccine order remains the same but conceded it depended on producers. He expects vaccine deliveries to be made as scheduled while assuring equal access for all citizens.

idiocy; what about asymptomatic people, who dont know they are carriers, who then test positive

To a degree yes........however, they are still infected and capable of spreading the disease.

 

It is the % found positive that is the real concern....especially if from a random sample, rather than proactive (targeted) group.

I doubt that it is possible to care much in the entertainment venues. Their business is sozial gatherings and booze.
