I know one of the docs on the coronavirus task force.  He's super smart and very competent.  Quit bashing them.  They're doing an OK job.

One problem is a lot of info never makes it to the English language news sites.  And when it does, the translations suck.

I'd rather be here, without a jab, than in the US, UK or Europe.

Not bashing the doctors.  But they're not the ones in charge of signing the deals (and the associated money).  The fact that they haven't firmed up orders even yet borders on the criminal.

Yes they are.  They are intimately involved and are driving the decisions being made here.  No, they're not the PM, but they are doing a very good job here.

The jabs are in short supply.  Many countries are having problems sourcing them.  You should know this.  Here's the deal in Canada.

Shutout by allies, Canada will produce its own vaccines by the end of 2021

It was the richer countries that could place multiple billion dollar bets on jabs.  The US doing so with 3-4.  Thailand doesn't have that kind of money.

Myanmar, Indonesia, India, Brazil, Mexico, Bangladesh and more have started vaccinations.

Meanwhile Thailand has zero vaccines on hand and either refused to accept or hasn't gotten around to accepting an offer for millions of doses from India, depending on which version of the taboo story is told.

Thailand's lack of vaccines has more to do with face, politics, and lining power brokers pockets than budget constraints.

So, in the USA, almost 10% of the people have already received their first of 2 jabs, and in Thailand, they're 4-5 months away from even starting?

Agreed, lots of Countries are starting to vaccinate there citizens,  but yet Thailand seem to keep wanting to delay vaccinations... for some unknown reason,... I didn't think the J&J vaccine had finished all its trials or been approved,  most Countries chase orders for vaccine,  but not Thailand, Hmmm.
