ICE vs EV, the debate thread
On holiday over Xmas in Phu Quoc. We took 2 grab taxis, Toyota Veloz out 20km and a Mitsubishi Xpander back to the hotel. The Toyota was a noisy piece of crap with horrible plastics, the Mitsubishi was quieter and more spacious but still a massively inferior option to any BYD model. The Japanese are a generation behind the Chinese in all variants, ICE or EV. -

2025 - which political story are you not looking forward to?
Agree, best totally ignored. There's been so many reports / comments, seems to me much of this is just invented / twists etc. Who knows what the truth is and in any case much of what's been 'reported' is pretty much the realities of life for plenty of people world wide. -

Do you actually think getting a piece of paper qualifies you for it while another who makes it a passion instead of a way to earn income doesn't? If you read up on a particular subject for over 30 years, it isn't being qualified as far as being certified but knowledgeable. It isn't hard to determine depression by another's symptoms, as that's what a certified doctor does. -

From your "other" current thread hour ago you stated.... "I was planning on a 30 Extension of stay this week then after 30 days apply for a further 60 day Extension based on being married to a Thai." So even without the 30 day extension to visa exempt (Nov) with a 60 to visit wife you are covered for next 3 months. Umm -

Foreign Rider Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Pattaya
I live on Soi 3 of Arunotai it is one of the most dangerous roads in Pattaya more so at school times, vehicles/bikes ignore the signs and the school staff directing exiting vehicles/bikes from the gates. It’s even more dangerous for pedestrians with bikes undertaking where pedestrians where are walking. The most congested part is near the old Family Mart, vehicles/bikes come from Klang and use the side road as a rat run to 3rd Road. Yellow boxes are ignored, I don’t think most drivers know what they actually mean. -

Someone should harass those ministery officials and give their numbers out to the public. They are a disgrace and should be removed for blaming the victim.
