if this were the results from 'random testing', we might have a problem.

But these positives came in large majority from 'active case finding' which appears to be some kind of targeted approach.

But logically, when you have a high percent of positive, you would increase the number of tests, not decreasing them to know what's happening.

This is a deliberate strategy to keep positive cases low.

Based on Thailand's figures given in the article it has a 0.36% death rate from covid. So pretty much the same as the rest of the world, or to put it the other way a 99.64% recovery rate. Has no one noticed yet that not only are the symptoms very similar to influenza but that the death rate is also? So why are so many terrified, in fact the flu of 2017 was far more deadly, where were the lock downs & masks then? 

 

Of course I am not suggesting that we are simply dealing with another type of influenza, too many renowned doctors have been censored, cancelled and banned worldwide for suggesting such heresy. However it is interesting to note that most countries have higher death rates from alcohol and motor vehicle accidents every year, Thailand of course much more so for accidents. Seems that doesn't induce a state of fear, now why would that be?

Singapore carried 94,000 tests yesterday - for a tiny population 1/6 of Thailand

Malaysia carried out 96,000 tests yesterday - and found over 4000 infections - with half the population of Thailand

The UK carried out 260,000 tests yesterday - same population as Thailand 

 

Until they start mass testing the population they will never know how much of the virus is circulating. 

Perhaps this may be one reason why the government is not doing mass testing, and using the cost of tests as an excuse.

So do they contact trace everyone in these flights?   Thais are obviously not being required to get tested.  I still believe an 13 or even 6 hour flight is a highly contagious environment.

Update. The UK is riddled with covid and the government promised many months ago that they would be doing 1 million tests per day. They achieved that target on one day only (by massaging the figures). Never since.

 

But how do YOU know when no one has Covid without testing?

 

If Thai hospitals are empty why is the government sill building field hospitals?
