Woman escapes high-speed impact with only minor injuries

PHUKET: A Thai woman escaped a high-impact accident with only minor injuries after the car she was driving hit a roadside guardrail in front of the Tha Ruea Chinese Shrine, just south of the Heroines Monument, on Thepkrasattri Rd in Srisoonthorn, early this morning (Feb 15).

Chiang Mai: "Sex for grades" high school teacher arrested at short time hotel with 15 year old student

Region 5 police acting on a tip from a foundation for children and young women went to a "man root" or short time sex hotel in Chang Pheuak district of Chiang Mai on Saturday where they arrested a 39 year old teacher.

A group of souped up pick-up enthusiasts from Pattaya called "Spirit Pattaya" responded after reports that a male elephant called Khun Phaen was suffering because there were no tourists due to the pandemic.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand reported 143 new coronavirus infections on Monday and in quarantine detected its first case of the highly contagious COVID-19 variant first found in South Africa, its coronavirus taskforce said.

PHUKET:-- Police are calling for all people who fell prey to the scam rolled out through the ‘Shopping Mall’ app to file reports of how much money they lost to the scheme. Police believe that more than 1,000 people in Phuket and on Koh Samui were duped out of money through the scam.
