Thai Girlfirend Needs Cheap Accommodation Phuket/hat Yai

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend or know of cheap accommodation

in these areas? (Phuket/Hat Yai) Between 250 and 800 baht

a day?

She's sleeping in her car at the moment while she's working

around Phuket. She's a civil engineer and is working around

different sites until the end of the month.

She only requires a comfortable room to sleep in.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

Phuket Town. Quite literally hundreds of options in that price range. Try the Crystal Inn, Phuket Town, right in the centre near Ocean shopping centre and Robinsons. Was around 450 baht a night last time I stayed, the rooms are clean and it was excellent value for money. Air con, everything. On On guesthouse even cheaper but I can't vouch for the standard. Hat Yai, no idea, sorry.

I stayed at a good hotel in Hat Yai with room service and everything for 450 BHT. Hat Yai is A LOT cheaper than Bangkok and the tourist places.

Thanks folks!

I've emailed her and if she has to pay more

than her budget of 300 baht, I'll fund it. I'm

sure she can find something for under 800

bht.

Hi Mountainman,

Have a look online.

wotif.com curently has 4 options in this price range.

asiarooms has 20 options.

All in Phuket

There is a lot of accomodation available at the moment, so i am sure that these are just the tip of the iceberg..

Hope this helps.

Hi there!

There are some great apartments in Kathu that she could rent nightly/monthly.

About 350 a night. Close to where ever u need to go on the island!

Try Getho Apartments for example.

I also think Crystal Inn or Rattana Mansion in Phuket Town are ok, but more expensive than Kathu for the same quality room...

scads and scads of places in Phukettown AND Patong for less than 500 a night

But the website says 850 bhat from Nov to april, not 450 bhat.

http://www.phuketcrystalinn.com/roomrate.html

June is not Nov-Apr :o

it is low season now ... and worth a call (and looks online at booking agencies)

Just put a buddy into a really nice room with cable TV, daily maid service and sheets, and a pool for 9k per month.. In central Patong !!!

Low season is really here !!
