Hi,

I've just managed to get my girlfriend a 6 month UK Visit visa which begins now and expires in November. As this was our first attempt, we only asked for 1 month as advised, so we plan for her to come over in July for a month.

After she goes back, if all goes well, I'd like for her to come over again for possibly 3 or 4 months starting from xmas this year, however this would mean she would have been granted 2 visit visas in 1 year, which I'm not sure is allowed.

Could someone please clarify if this is ok, and what the rules are regarding to this.

Thanks

Lee,

There is nothing in the the immigration rules which states that you can't have two visit visas within a year. What is more relevant is the length of time the visa holder has/will have been present in the UK within a defined period. It's impossible to say whether your girlfriend will definately get a visa in such circumstances, but it shouldn't be impossible.

Scouse.
