You are saying the Washington Post is wrong then?

I would rely on a more independent source and not a narrow definition as given by WP. As has been explained earlier in the thread.

I thought Trump campaigned on America first? Time perhaps we start treating Israel the same way they treat the Palestinians? That's hardly anti-Semite.

The off topic twists some people are wont to make to trash Israel continue to amaze. The gift that keeps on giving. BTW the post you were replying to which was clearly referring to the racist anti semetic white nationalist elements of the former president guy's base didn't mention Israel. But you saw something about Jews and couldn't help yourself.

Obviously, leading doesn't mean sharing the money! ????

"SCOOP: TRUMPS SENDS CEASE-AND-DESIST TO RNC, NRCC AND NRSC. Lawyers for former President DONALD TRUMP sent out cease-and-desist letters Friday to the three largest fundraising entities for the Republican Party — the RNC, NRCC and NRSC — for using his name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise, a Trump adviser tells Playbook."

In his CPAC appearance he said:

Quote

[...] there’s “only one way to contribute to our efforts, to elect America First Republican conservatives. And in turn, to make America great again.”

“And that’s through Save America PAC and donaldjtrump.com. So go out there and do whatever you can because we’re going to help a lot of great people,” he said near the conclusion of his CPAC speech, which was his first major public address since leaving office in January 2021.

In summary: "send the $$$ directly to me."  Politics is about pie-in-the-sky promises and whatever gabbing you can get away with, but when it comes to $$$, as they say in the vernacular, "the sh_t gets real."

He apparently thinks he can keep playing his see you in court tactic that he's used all his life, but by now he's probably the laughing stock of every bar association in the country.  And also a renowned deadbeat.  (Did all the checks clear, Rudy?)

I would also suspect that he was getting, or expected to get, a piece of that wall donation scheme his buddy Bannon was running.

From the guy who made government employees sign blatantly invalid confidentiality agreements, there's now this:

SCOOP: TRUMPS SENDS CEASE-AND-DESIST TO RNC, NRCC AND NRSC. Lawyers for former President DONALD TRUMP sent out cease-and-desist letters Friday to the three largest fundraising entities for the Republican Party — the RNC, NRCC and NRSC — for using his name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise, a Trump adviser tells Playbook.

We reported yesterday that Trump was furious that his name has been bandied about by organizations that help Republicans who voted to impeach him — without his permission. Trump, who made his fortune in licensing, has always been sensitive to how his name has been used to fundraise and support members, even while in office.

I think his greed has gotten so fierce he doesn't realize he is being self-defeating.  He has limited the use of his image, when he's the sort of guy who wants his image to be everywhere.

His presidential pension is that he has access to his fans' pockets.
