Pattaya fisherman reels in bag containing scores of IDs, bank cards and driving licenses

A man fishing for squid off Pattaya beach landed a very strange catch and took it to the Pattaya police.

At 3 am on Sunday morning Sompong, 32, arrived at the station with a brown cloth bag.

Inside were 50 Thai ID cards, ATM cards and driving licences.

Sompong said he thought he had a nice squid on his line and he was perplexed when he hauled in.

Pattaya's finest are investigating.
