...quite the opposite..Im a forensic pathology technician..i have seen all this...this is not the stuff to be bandied about on public media..wake up!

  Bangkok is good as a base. I do live in Bangkok since 30 years but leave the city at least twice a month for a few days, mostly Hua Hin or Kanchanaburi. I also spend a lot of time riding my motorbike in the upper Northeast and North of Thailand. I would prefer Hua Hin instead of Pattaya.

  So out of curiosity, how will the new electonic system affect a same day border bounce after January 1. I'm doing the Nong Khai bit early February. Last I read the E visa requirement wasn't mandatory until June. As the OP mentioned anything can be in flux at any given time.
