Record labels are on track to make more money this year from the sale of vinyl records than the once-mighty CD for the first time since the 1980s, as pandemic music buying habits accelerate the revival of the classic LP.

World's biggest canvas painting, the 17,000 sq ft 'Journey of Humanity' sells for $62 million

The 'Journey of Humanity' is split into 70 framed sections spanning 17,176 sq ft - equivalent to six tennis courts. Andre Abdoune, a French national residing in Dubai - one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE - bought all 70 segments on Tuesday at an auction in Dubai's five-star hotel, Atlantis, The Palm.

 

The world's largest canvas painting has sold for £45 million at auction in Dubai.

Thai central bank holds rate at record low, trims 2021 growth forecast

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's central bank left its key interest rate unchanged at a record low on Wednesday but slightly lowered its 2021 economic growth outlook as the tourism-reliant country recovers slowly from the COVID-19 pandemic.

CMU declares itself first 5G powered University in ASEAN

CHIANG MAI (NNT) - Chiang Mai University and Huawei Technology, have together signed an MOU - "5G Powered Smart University Enabled with Cloud and AI” - making the institution the first to be 5G Powered in ASEAN.
