(Reuters) - About 3,000 villagers from Myanmar's southeastern Karen state fled to Thailand on Sunday following air attacks by the army on an area held by an ethnic armed group, an activist group and local media said.

Thai anti-establishment protester Parit still refusing food, being fed intravenously

Ratsadon group leader Parit “Penguin” Chiwarak, currently being held on remand and in detention for contempt of court, has been on hunger strike for over two weeks. He allowed doctors to conduct a blood test for the first time on Saturday night, after suffering from fatigue, increased dizziness and dehydration.

Disease Control Dept. insists Thai seafood vendor had COVID-19 before inoculation

Thailand’s Disease Control Department said today (Sunday) that the vendor, who was thought to have become infected with COVID-19 after she was vaccinated was, in fact, infected prior to inoculation.

Thai police evict protesters from Baan Thaloo Fah village in surprise dawn raid

Seventy protesters, who had been camping at “Baan Thaloo Fah village”, which was set up in front of the Government House on March 13th, were rounded up by the police at dawn on Sunday and bussed to the Region 1 Border Patrol Police (BPP) Command in Pathum Thani province for questioning.

Government Expects Bt250 Billion Circulation from Stimulus Packages

Health Ministry Warns against Fake Claims on Covid-19 Vaccine

LONDON (Reuters) - Certain lorry drivers arriving in England will need to take COVID-19 tests in a bid to tackle the spread of any future variants, the government said on Sunday as Heathrow Airport lobbied for the easing of an overseas holiday ban from mid-May.

ISMAILIA, Egypt (Reuters) - Suez Canal salvage teams intensified excavation and dredging on Sunday around a massive container ship blocking the busy waterway ahead of attempts to refloat it, with two sources saying work had been complicated by rock under the ship's bow.

Pattaya: Eleven year old shoots five year old dead with rifle he found at house

Police were called to a one story house on a quarter rai of land in Soi Anamai Nong Ta-Un, Pong, Bang Lamung after a five year old child was shot with a Thai made .22 rifle.
