Is a visa required?

Recommended Posts

Advice needed on whether I need a visa or will 30 day on arrival suffice.

My wife has recently passed away. (In the uk). Leaving bank accounts and our condo in her name. With regards to trying to transfer money from her accounts to mine and transfer ownership of the condo to myself. What will be needed.

Death certificate, marriage certificate etc

You will get a 45 day visa exempt entry (is not a 15 day VOA) at this time that can be extended for 30 days.

You could do what you need to do with a visa exempt entry if it allows you enough time to get it done.

Anything in English with will need to be translated to Thai and the translation certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA.

You may have to have the death certificate legalized by the UK government and the Thai embassy. Info about it here.
