I did post a link to a story indicating June as well. Goal posts changing daily or weekly to suit needs

Do you think the company wants to delay delivery of the vaccine?

Give them a break.

Wait I thought it was June. https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-thailand/update-1-thailand-on-track-to-distribute-locally-made-covid-19-vaccines-in-june-idUSL1N2K40FF

  • Yep. I was about to say exactly this. NNT's subtle way of moving the goalposts?

Except they should be doing it now instead of awaiting approval like other companies around the world.   If they have faith in their capabilities to produce the vaccine to the requirements o

Give them a Kit-Kat....the power of advertising....

I suspect the AZ farangs have been trying to skill up Siam Bioscience so that they can get the job done. This takes time.

Nobody will mention it, however, as it wouldn't be polite.

Do you mean the foreign AZ workers are training the Thai staff if SB?

What is wrong with that?

At least we know that the odds of the Thai FDA not giving approval are less than zero.

Why the rush?

The monopoly is established.

The people who matter have had their jabs.

Sabai sabai...

And more importantly, the narrative of this mob and their controllers saving the Thai people and the nation is also maintained.

It will be up to AZ themselves if it meets the expected standards when they test it.

Thai FDA will just be a rubber stamp.

Really a little over the top don't you think.  Or are you supporting the daily, weekly, monthly changing stories that this Government publishes and then things never truly do come to fruition without questioning it.  Its is fair for us to point out the stories posted and then to criticize the failed timeline rollout as they stated especially when they put all of their eggs into one basket and only now because of it are scrambling to get other vaccines on board.

Very good.....nearly missed that......eggs and scrambling.

In related news: J&J's vaccine is now being held in quarantine. Som nam na.

The FDA requested on April 16 that production of vaccine be halted “pending completion of the inspection and remediation of any resulting findings”. Any vaccine materials already made at the plant will be held in quarantine.

Arstechnica

"The company is in the process of sending samples of the vaccines "= still not sent yet

My posts always have a hidden innuendo within the inside you just have to look deeply for the insertion point.

Good point...they are either sent or not sent......"in the process of sending" is meaningless.

On it.

They are in the intercompany memo bag hanging on the door, ready to go, pending, intestate, etc...sort of like a pending dump but need more fiber in order to finish the processing.

Not at all, it's literally laden with meaning. None of which is good, and all of which can be understood with a minimal IQ and a little healthy cynicism (which latter is oft-times missing).

What has this got to do with the government publishing things?

This company are trying their hardest to get vaccines to save Thai people's lives; instead of criticizing them, why not try to support them?

If I commented the way I should I would be banned.  No inference can be made as it is a very slippery slope to comment on.

Only AZ an J&J have stated that currently. Sinovac is a for profit venture.

Don't forget that CP own 15% of Sinovac and the Crown Group own SiamBiotech

Proving the old adage that it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good eh?

it is surely sufficient to make anyone want to throw up.

I wonder if this is why the huge time delay as the powers that be are stacking the deck by waiting for these companies to produce and make the money here.

So they will start to deliver it in July "as planned ", but the MoPH is planning to start using it in June? How does that work?

No the longer they wait, with the virus out of control, the more desperate people will become.  Ideal for a bit of price gouging.

it will need to be a fine calculation or it  won't be just the prices that get gouged.  It will pass the time where the population needed to get a little more revolting.

On time?  What a joke.  Should have had the vaccines months ago.  And,  yes, it was June for delivery so they are already a month behind.  Train wreck.
