I love Marmite and Vegemite. I have been eating it for most of my adult life. Spread on toast in the morning. Back home we eat Rocky Mountain oysters, which some people find unusual.

Vegemite's a lot more like a paste than marmite (which is relatively runny). Taste wise vegemite is more bitter apparently. Also, Marmite is apparently sweeter than vegemite, but vegemite is saltier than marmite.

Since Vegemite is no longer Australian owned (not since 1935 anyway), this alternative spread has entered the market. Never tried it though.. Anyone have any ??
