  • I can already smell the French fries.

  • You will be fine on B7 (7% cooking oil), the stuff marked "diesel" is actually B10 (10% chip oil), there is also B20 (20% salad dressing) hiding out back intended for the big stuff. I don't think pure

  • By using Shell V Power you help Shell to make a nice profit. It costs way more for nearly no benefits.

Doable.

I know a guy in Belgium. He adapted a very old Mercedes Diesel and his car is only running on used oil he is collecting from the local French fries shows (and there are lots of them).

His car runs fine and smells like (I want some French fries too).

Topical as French fries actually originated in Belgium.

In preparation for the second winter season, we invested in block, sump and cabin heaters. These technologies didn't exist in China so the US-based team members were the 'mules' over the summer months with some pretty expensive excess baggage charges.

Unfortunately, with our camp sites operating at around 12,000', the providers of the camp generator sets hadn't factored in the de-rating of kVA output versus altitude. The first time we turned on the breaker for heating about 20 trucks and pickups, the generator almost died under the excess load. We ended up only plugging in essential vehicles (like mine) overnight and kept on the night(fire)watchmen for the rest of the fleet.

Nice. We had to dress similarly but being in the Himalayan foothils, we didn't have snow. Just clear blue skies and don't touch any bare metal surfaces.

the higher the "B" number the worse it is for your car and the better for the environment (same with gasohol "E" numbers).

If you love your car - buy B7, if you are eco-conscious and don't care about visiting garage more often - buy B20 (but read the owners' manual first because it could be not compatible with your car!)

Better do some research.

Ethanol production is not green - far less green than oil and gas production.
