It does when your strategy is to fire thousands of missiles from civilian areas full knowing the response will end up with civilian casualties which is what they want, to show the whole world what Israel is doing, its called (propaganda).

let us know what your government should do in response of missiles that are aimed to kill you full knowing they are being fired from your enemy in residential areas. If Israel was the United States Gaza would have been nothing but a pile of ruble by now.

Maybe Israel should politely ask Hamas to fire rockets their from open fields where there is no civilian population instead of being rats hiding in tunnels and residential buildings.

Yes. Hamas is very big on exploiting the tragic deaths of civilians particularly children to increase hatred towards Israel internationally. But the people that fall for that should consider that Hamas basically plans the situations for that to happen. It's totally intentional. Nobody is saying the Israeli government is saintly but to blame them for attacking military targets is a standard other states are not held to.

Spot on, it looks like there's a few on this forum that are falling for the old Hamas PR stunt as well.

My point is that neither side is any better than the other.

Nothing justifies bombing civilians and neither side is right to do so.

To defend one side bombing civilians and condemn the other is nonsense.

One side isn't even targeting. But since not aimed at military targets the intention is obviously to terrorize civilians.

The other side is aiming for military targets and warning people to evaluate in advance.

Not really the same.

And yet it is those being bombed by Israel who are bearing the brunt of casualties and deaths.

As for terrorizing civilians, do you honestly expect me to believe that those civilians in Gaza are singing and dancing along the sidewalks as they are being bombed.

Nothing justifies bombing civilians.

Obviously true that the Israeli military is vastly more powerful than Hamas. But any country would take very aggressive action to react to being blanketed with missiles.

so what is your answer, let Hamas hide in civilian areas and continue to shoot hundreds of rockets into Israel civilian areas?

You only know what Hamas tells you, there is no freedom of speech or press.

That still does not justify bombing civilians.

Israel does no target civilians , repeating same nonsense over and over will not make a fact.

Again, Hamas command centers , Hamas rocket stock piles are hidden in civilian areas like schools, hospitals and public places, as well as just housing estates.

When its a civilian target, Israel notified by leaflets and phone calls for civilians to vacate. It has been proven in the past with evidence, Hamas does not allow civilians to escape or flee because they need civilian deaths for publicity.

And my point is that if the result is civilian deaths then that action is wrong.

I've already said that hamas is no better and both sides should call a ceasefire and accept mediation.

Neither side is in the right here and I have expressed no support for either...

As I once heard an Israeli say, 'to turn the other cheek is a Christian doctrine'.

The reaction/ retaliation is far far disproportionate and the Palestinian suffering is a horror story.

Both need to stop, Hamas too.....
