From the beginning of Covid Thailand has been on the yellow list in many countries and still is. Free to enter for Thais even without vaccination.

Only would land in China if my flight could not land in Taiwan or Korea, etc., due to weather or a mechanical failure on the Jet I would be travelling in. Been there two times and seen enough. No plans to ever return.  Got my sights on Vietnam or Philippines for my next Asia visit.
