No, because they haven't.

They have suggested people rethink. As they advise for numerous countries at the moment including Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, New Zealand etc. etc.

rethink?

Rethink or more accurately "reconsider" if being pedantic and it hasn't changed since it was set at a Level 3 on 16 June.

Has anyone noticed that 2 days ago the USA advised against travel to Thailand?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Notice for Thailand due to COVID-19, indicating a high level of COVID-19 in the country. Your risk of contracting COVID-19 and developing severe symptoms may be lower if you are fully vaccinated with an FDA authorized vaccine. Before planning any international travel, please review the CDC's specific recommendations for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

Bottom line, does that affect travel insurance policies?  Or any other practical aspect?

Or just friendly advice?
