Moderna SE Asia partner says regional vaccine supplies booked until year-end

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Zuellig Pharma, Moderna's supply partner for COVID-19 vaccines in Southeast Asia, said on Tuesday that regional orders for the mRNA vaccine were almost fully booked for this year, highlighting procurement challenges for countries slow off the mark.

Thai central bank to adjust forex rules to cope with volatility

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's central bank is considering adjusting the foreign exchange regulatory framework to help the economy better cope with volatility, officials said on Tuesday, as the baht hit a more than 13-month low against the U.S. dollar.

PHUKET, Thailand (Reuters) - A Thai tiger park in Phuket is gearing up to welcome back overseas visitors this week, as businesses on the resort island hope to benefit from a pilot programme to allow fully vaccinated tourists in the Southeast Asian country.

PHUKET: A couple were arrested in Nakhon Sri Thammarat yesterday (June 28) on drug related offences after their Phuket-based distribution contact had given them up to police.

Guidelines for "Green" COVID-19 patients looking after themselves at home

BANGKOK (NNT) - According to Thailand’s Public Health Ministry on Monday, asymptomatic COVID-19 cases in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon will enter a “Home Isolation” program, under remote supervision by medical personnel as a direct result of the hospital bed shortage in and around the capital.

Cabinet approves ฿7.5 bn compensation for workers hit by partial lockdown

Employees affected by the partial lockdown in and around Bangkok, which began on Monday, and who are not covered by the social security scheme, will be eligible for 2,000 baht/month in compensation, as the cabinet today (Tuesday) approved the 7.5-billion-Baht compensation fund.

Building repairs and renovations in Bangkok not covered by partial lockdown

Maintenance or renovation of buildings in and around Bangkok can continue as normal and are not banned by the Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), as widely misunderstood.
