Living in Lopburi. Registered for moderna a few weeks back. Paid up front for me and my wife. 2000 baht each for 2 jabs (3800 baht each if I waited until jab day). No line. No problem. Been told for a while now that it's expected sometime around October. Can only hope this review junk can finish up quickly. Not holding my breath.

Same here but different province, I reckon they will be here in October and ready, don't forget to get 400 baht back for each, as they have dropped the price as per government guidelines to 3,400 baht for two jabs, so that's 800 baht back in total, i.e. unless the price fluctuates again ?

Meh, that felt like a warning to entice a Q2 booking.

That is what all concert ticket buyers think… until the time gets closer and all tickets are sold out and the tickets cost 2x cover price on the secondary market.

There is huge demand for the vaccine. They don’t need to play games to entice buying.

If I am not mistaken, isn't the Moderna vaccine going to be tallied up during all of July, then the order to be placed for delivery  during the 4th quarter?  Or, is this a separate order "guessing" how many want that vaccine (as shown by the traffic in CM it is too many) and therefore, they are advising the private hospitals that each will receive 60 doses or maybe 100 doses and therefore as soon as they open for registration, within 5-10 minutes they are "fully" booked as they claim.  It would really be nice if the government would actually take control of this project, organize it properly and then advise everyone that is eligible for said project.  That would stop the onslaught getting into the queue at 4 AM and never making it to the counter to register.  Hopefully someone will tackle this project and get it organized once and for all!

I think that was the original plan. People got confused and that it is was already ordered. The government is facilitating the order. The GPO still needs to tell the government what and how much they want.

I did say, quite specifically entice a Q2 booking. Q2 ended on 30 June, and companies like to book orders in order to show back-log. Sales people get comped (partially) on bookings. Booking an order simply requires a letter, and is non-binding. A booking is not declared as revenue until the product ships.

I think Zuellig was trying to move their customers, on the fence, along to make a Q2 booking. Thus they mentioned a potential long lead-time on Moderna if the order was delayed. Nothing wrong with that, especially if it is true.

My fault for not explaining. And again, it was just my guess on the Zuellig comment on availability.
