Funny, but the Thai people near where I live have parties ,with 10 /15 people coming for as far away as Bangkok and other areas, almost every night, drinking, no masks, no social distancing, load music. So some are making the decision that time is passing, life is short, and they don't want to spend more weeks/months/years missing out on what humans have done for always. Socialising.
