Has anyone notified covid to only strike after 15 minutes?

Ff course not and you know that notion to be as preposterous as it is senseless.

Having said that, please feel free to stick your head in a plastic bag, tighten it around the neck, breath normally and get back to us on how you get on.

Which is exactly what they should do with them.  They are irresponsible fools, who put everyone else at risk and contribute to lengthening this pandemic. What other interpretation of this kind of anti social idiocy is there?

Alcoholism seems to make people do silly things. Even though people were told to stay home from 2020 onwards, the fact that alkies can't control themselves "may" be a contributing factor in the spread.

People just miss social interaction in person whether it involves alcohol or not.  No matter if it's foreigners in a bar or at their home, local folk drinking together at the beach, kids congregating at the mall, villagers having a cold one after a days work.  It's hard to suppress human nature.

come on they are alcoholics !!!!   they cant stay away for any length of time this is NOT social interaction they are alcoholics ..  thais us uk fr it is all the same frigging alcohol    .. that is why most people cry when alcohol restrictions come

yeah, that should really stop COVID from spreading, that big cluster of drinking farangs, with those arrests ????

Good i am glad you fully understand how this contagion works, stay at home with your immediate family in a self induced lock down  and it will go away, or, we can all go out and meet and  mingle , you give it to me i give it to a friend etc etc

Normally people in TESCP or 7/11 are not sucking on a can so can keep their mask on, but I guess logic gets lost on stupidity.

indeed logic get lost in stupidity, that is believing that lockdowns or limiting people drinking or meeting is going to change anything.

How did that work so far? ????

Also, when you go to  "Tesco/7-11" you do your business and leave, you do not linger around for hours on end for pleasure drinking, no social distancing, and no mask.

right, because DELTA magically disappear in 711 or TESCO because you were so fast entering and leaving the place ????

I take it that is sarcasm?   If you add this 12 to the 66 arrested yesterday in the Naklua club, so 78 individuals, how many do each of them see and meet with outside those  bars, 5, 10, 20, others. it could easily be as many as 800 odd people, exposed to possible risk just by those two bars.  It only takes one covid infected person to do that. That's how it spreads and why the rest of us are banged up at home waiting for it to ease.

The Gov can't even implement their own rules.  Supposedly, they "locked down" Bangkok (and 6 surrounding provinces) with no traveling to other provinces without a valid reason.  Supposedly, they setup 88 roadblocks in/out of Bangkok.  Supposedly, they setup a web site so people can state when they travel and have a voucher.

Lots of Bangkok people are traveling from BKK to Hua Hin, Jomtien, Pattaya with NO roadblocks (or unmanned roadblocks).  This will be a much more Covid spreader than 12 people sitting around having a beer.

If the junta gov had bought effective vaccines we wouldn't be in this boat right now too!

Any minute now the usual mob will start posting comments of lock them up and obey the rules or some such nonsense.

Proud to be part of the usual mob and not one of the fools who think it’s ok

As it is a "Hells Angels" bar (or run by an HA support club) I'd say they were probably grilling (slowly) anyone that called them "gay".  :w00t:

The Outlaws are a different group but they, like the HA and others, do have chapters in Australia.

They are (most likely) outlaw bikers so yes, they probably would be doing the same thing in their own countries. Probably without having to worry about being busted by the cops as well.

Yea right nothing but a few old wannabes that can't get over they are old  " GAY ANGELS "  grill baby grill! ????

I remember in the late 60's  Sonny and his chopper boys rode into our neighborhood the look outs had the word out before they even got on the freeway. Stupidly he only came with 6 bikers rode up enter and started to look around his visit was because he felt his drug territory was being moved in on by my brother group. He made a push to try to show strength in his words if that was the case there was a price to be paid that is when he saw one of the largest arsenals. He left and never came back!????

Funny, but the Thai people near where I live have parties ,with 10 /15 people coming for as far away as Bangkok and other areas, almost every night, drinking, no masks, no social distancing, load music. Police drive past and do nothing. Could be that all the people attending are ALL THAI CITIZENS.

the feeling of loneliness can be excruciating

Not as excruciating as a tube stuck in your neck to help you breathe.

I understand it too, but I also understand the the risk to other people and for me that’s not a risk worth taking.

 ....... it's been nearly 16 months now ........ that's more than a few weeks.

But right from the start, March 2020, they always say only a few weeks.

How often does the lie need to be repeated and proven wrong before people realize the restrictions will never end?

Have you seen the Bill Gates theory too?

I truly believe some of these people have mental problems.

They have to be in a group or party situation or else they think they have no life or are missing something.

Hey, just stay home and drink a beer and watch TV for a few weeks it won't kill you.

It is part of the human condition to socialise.

Sitting at home having a beer on your own can lead to good or bad feelings.

Having a beer with friends leads to good feelings.

That is what these people are aiming for.

To socialise and be happy in each others company.

Admittedly they may not be only with friends, but also with drinking buddies, who can be far from friends, but the intention to be happy and converse is there.

If this illness had a time limit, of two weeks/months/years to flatten whatever, then maybe people could deal with it easier.

But even countries where extensive vaccination programs have been carried out are sliding in and out of restrictions.

Vaccination isn't going to lead to freedom.

So some are making the decision that time is passing, life is short, and they don't want to spend more weeks/months/years missing out on what humans have done for always.

Socialising.

Socialising in the face of seemingly unlimited restrictions is not a mental illness.

They should have dug a bunker and sat quietly, singing songs in an undertone and meditating. There is possible to collect 20 people underground, you would never find anyone. All the problems in alcoholism and the reptilian lifestyle ...

Dang! I'm disappointed no pictures of Thai hotties. Are they back on the farm?

Fat Boys Bar and Grill is on the Darkside, where "Thai hotties" were few and far between pre-covid times and nonexistent now, 555.

people should take their responsibilities, if they want to get infected, let them be

you are never going to stop them doing what they want to do with silly rules and control measures

Yep... let them get infected, who cares. But what about the innocent people who they’ll inevitably infect?  That’s why they should have the nook thrown at them.

the innocent people will get infected eventually by other simple and innocent means, this is a zombie scenario, you can't hide from the virus

Maybe not but you can protect yourself as well as you can until you get vaccinated. In the meantime the virus needs to be contained as much as possible. These guys and others like them are not helping anyone, even themselves. Selfish.

no more selfish than those who would expect others to make sacrifice for them,

staying home alone is not helping, and drinking with friends is not changing the big picture either

you guys need to start to take a grab of reality, all these measures don't work, we know that for sure now

right because you still believe that there was no COVID in Thailand before April,

and testing was basically absent,

and you can't believe anything they say officially,
