Maybe Tony can pay me back my 3500 baht for cancelled flights and show real integrity first..instead of just pilfering from thousands. BTW...I understand he's still rich

The whole covid thing will cost my family over 10 million, where should I complain? Don't fly with them if you don't like it. Thai Vietjet just opened jobs for new young pilots who have a CPL already. If selected they have to pay 2.8 million to get the rating and are paid 18.000 baht a month. Converting from A330 to A 320 will cost the pilot 380.000 baht. NOw you know how these people get rich. Ask the one from Ryan Air.

When I read posts like this - and these are not unique in this forum re: social, gender, racial, equality, reality issues, given the demographics of members here - I sometimes feel like I fell asleep and woke up in the '50's.

The 1850's.

I have employed Ladies, Gay and even a transgender so what is your point?

So you believe simply because my amount of loss is insignificant to you and your family it's OK to keep the money. BTW...if you are in business you accept the risks of being in business and losses are one of them. When you are a consumer, you do not expect to pay for goods and services and then be stiffed. Big difference.

I never flew with them as I don't like their attitude. You had a choice, I did not close the country. So we are in the same boat. The reason is exactly the same. NO, I think they should pay you back. and I would not let it go as well. I believe in honest business, that's why I am still poor ????

THey want to be equal but cry when they here the F... word that's what I call pathetic.

Possibly not so much the "f" word, that was the "icing on the cake" his attitude and rudeness is obvious, Certainly not senior management material anywhere else for a reasonable company with good HR practices in place.

Watched the video. No reaction from anyone else in the room. Not a raised eyebrow, nothing.

Seems like people that arent involved, yet want to stick their beaks in, need to harden the f-bomb up - or just mind your own beeswax.

From what I have seen this is fairly typical behaviour from Thai managers especially to women and those of lesser status.

It may be typical, but does it make it acceptable?

The standard we walk past is the standard we expect and accept.

Bit like paying tea money, and then complaining.

Would it be an issue if he had said the same to a male? Doubt it.  Woman want equity until or unless the equity offends them.

A true feminist would not be happy until the workplace death rates of females is 50/50 and not 99/1. That won't be happening any time soon.

Some directs the “f bomb” towards me and tells me to “shut up”, yes there would be an issue.

Oh, and always good to see a man (and I am assuming from the nature of your post you are such) telling women what a true feminist should be…

Hehe. Like tailgating and aggressively passing us, on these two lane country roads.

Wrapping their vehicle around a tree or pole tends to solve that problem.

An airline is basically in the customer service business. Yes, there is more to it behind the scenes, but the 1960's glamour surrounding air travel is gone. Now it's the same as bus or train service.

If you treat your employees like trash, then that filters down to how your customers get treated.

This tossapon chap has FAILED EPICALLY and in full public view. He lacks any understanding of decent human interaction, and deserves a public dressing down.

With a leader like this his company is doomed to fail.

He could change - cough, sputter - but not sure he's up to the task?

People are so overly sensitive these days. A boss should have the right to tell a rambling subordinate to shut up. No doubt the fact that he told a woman, and not a man, is what caused this to go viral.

In industrial history how many years has it been unacceptable to for someone in his position to tell someone who is rambling on and on, to shut up? Three years? Five years?

Weak, PC culture. Get over yourselves.

Working in a team of males (many years ago) we spoke however we liked and didn't mince words.

Then gradually one or two females joined our team, so language had to be "modified".

But our old WW2 vintage boss would walk into the room and tell the males, one by one, that they could F off, and the ladies he'd say...."Jane, you can go home".

All fully accepted...at that time.

Maybe not now.☺

She was put in her place for babbling on and if you cannot stand the heat then get out of the kitchen but having said that she did not complain . In my experience I have attended many management/contractual / trade negotiations meetings where table fisting , shouting , swearing , pen throwing were normal events and that was just from the secretaries taking the minutes .

She didn't cry. She kept her composure and continued delivering actual information.

Didn't hear the arrogant Thai, Dutch <deleted> say one intelligent thing. Disgusting, pathetic and all too typical here.

Too little and too late.  Fernandez was sniggering on the Zoom call at Tossaporn's bullying and vulgar behaviour and has only apologised because the clip was leaked and went viral.  Tossaporn is a complete tosser anyway and should be forced to resign.
